PT Pertamina (Persero) organized a program called “Mudik Gratis Pertamina 2025” to facilitate 5,000 homebound travelers (pemudik) for Eid al-Fitr to reunite with their families in various regions. 121 buses departed from Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta to 23 destinations in West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java on Tuesday (25/3/2025).
Increased Quota and Overwhelming Response

This year, the number of travelers facilitated by Pertamina increased by 25% from 4,000 in 2024 to 5,000 in 2025.

The additional quota was well received by the public, evident from the rapid exhaustion of tickets since the registration opened on March 10. Within two days, all tickets were sold out.
Heartwarming Experiences of Travelers

Fetty from Bekasi: Fetty, heading to Tegal, Central Java, shared her first experience traveling under the program. She obtained the ticket on her first attempt and praised the excellent service she received upon arrival at the departure location.

Retna from Tangerang: Traveling to Yogyakarta, Retna expressed gratitude for the impressive facilities and services, learned about the program from her family, and stated her preference for Pertamina’s program compared to others she had previously joined.

- Message from Simon Aloysius Mantiri: The President Director of Pertamina, in the event themed “Harmoni Merangkai Energi,” had a heartfelt conversation with some travelers on the bus, advising them to have a safe journey and convey his regards to their families at home.

Departure Amenities: Participants enjoyed various services at the departure site, including lactation rooms, prayer rooms, children’s play areas, massage services, haircuts, health checks, entertainment, charging stations, and a photo booth.

Insurance Coverage: All participants were covered by life insurance from PertaLife and travel insurance from PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (Tugu Insurance), a subsidiary of Pertamina.

Safety Checks: Prior to the journey, all vehicles and drivers underwent thorough inspections to ensure the comfort and safety of the travelers throughout the trip.
